When I Saw Ugliness Within My Own Beauty

 True beauty begins

when a person has the courage

to see what is ugly within.

Nature is not merely scenery—it is the silent teacher.

When I Saw Ugliness Within My Own Beauty

Everyone told me my life was beautiful—meaning, my lifestyle was beautiful.

Yet, even after hearing such words, I was not satisfied.

This contradiction stayed with me for a long time. If beauty was supposed to bring happiness, acceptance, or peace, then why was there still restlessness within me? Why did appreciation from others fail to quiet something that continued to move inside?

That very question led me to Nature.

And there, something changed.

Nature: The First Mirror

Nature!

Marvelous.
Magnificent.
Beyond words.

For a moment, I simply looked.

I looked at the trees, the flowers, the sky, the earth, and the endless movement of life. Nothing in Nature seemed to be trying to prove its beauty.

A flower did not announce:

“Look at me. I am beautiful.”

A tree did not compete with another tree.

The sky did not seek approval.

The river did not compare its journey with that of another river.

Everything simply existed.

And perhaps, for the first time, I understood why I had been stressed.

I had been looking at myself through the eyes of the world.

But Nature allowed me to look at myself through the eyes of existence.

And the difference was enormous.

Why Do We Avoid Nature?

I began to understand something else.

Perhaps human beings do not always avoid Nature because they are too busy.

Perhaps, at a deeper level, we avoid Nature because Nature is too honest.

Nature does not flatter us.

It does not tell us that we are important simply because we wish to be important.

It does not recognize our social status, our wealth, our appearance, our power, or the image we have created of ourselves.

Before a mountain, the ego becomes smaller.

Before the ocean, our importance begins to disappear.

Before the vast sky, our achievements suddenly appear temporary.

Nature quietly asks us:

Who are you, really?

And perhaps this is the question the ego fears the most.

Beauty and the Hidden Ugliness

When people told me I was beautiful, perhaps they were speaking about what they could see.

But Nature showed me something that could not be seen in an ordinary mirror.

It showed me my ego.

And suddenly, I understood:

The ugliness of a human being is not necessarily found in the face.

It can exist in the ego.

It can exist in comparison.

It can exist in the constant desire to be admired.

It can exist in believing that we are greater than we truly are.

A mirror can show us our appearance.

But Nature can show us our inner stature.

And when I looked at myself through that mirror, I saw something I had never seen before.

I saw ugliness within my own beauty.

Not because Nature took my beauty away.

But because it revealed that beauty without humility can become another possession of the ego.

The ego can even turn beauty into a prison.

The more we become attached to an image of ourselves, the more afraid we become of losing it.

Perhaps that fear itself becomes stress.

The Flower Never Knows It Is Beautiful

There is something extraordinary about a flower.

It never knows that it is beautiful.

It does not spend its life protecting its beauty.

It does not ask whether another flower is more beautiful.

It simply blooms.

Perhaps this is the secret.

True beauty does not need to know that it is beautiful.

The moment beauty becomes self-conscious, the ego enters.

And when the ego enters, comparison begins.

When comparison begins, peace disappears.

Then beauty is no longer freedom.

It becomes a burden.

It becomes an image that must constantly be maintained.

But Nature remains free because it does not carry an image of itself.

The tree is simply a tree.

The river is simply a river.

The flower simply blooms.

Perhaps human beings became stressed the moment they stopped simply being and began constantly trying to become something.

Nature Revealed My True Stature

Standing before Nature, I did not feel insulted.

I felt liberated.

I understood my smallness.

And strangely, that smallness gave me peace.

The ego wants to be great.

Existence does not require greatness.

The ego wants recognition.

Existence does not need applause.

The ego wants to be remembered.

Nature teaches us that even the most magnificent flower eventually falls back into the earth.

There is no humiliation in this.

There is freedom.

The moment we understand our true stature within existence, we no longer need to pretend to be greater than we are.

And perhaps that is where real beauty begins.

Not when someone tells us that we are beautiful.

But when we no longer need to hear it.

When the Mirror Changes

Before Nature, I realized that I had spent much of my life looking into the wrong mirrors.

Society reflected my appearance.

People reflected their opinions.

But Nature reflected my existence.

And in that reflection, I discovered both my beauty and my ugliness.

The beauty was the life that existed within me.

The ugliness was the ego that wished to possess that beauty.

The beauty was natural.

The ugliness was created.

And the moment I could see the difference, something within me became silent.

Perhaps true transformation does not begin when we become beautiful.

Perhaps it begins when we finally have the courage to see what is ugly within us.

Nature gave me that courage.

It did not condemn me.

It simply stood before me in its magnificent silence.

And in that silence, I understood.

The Final Realization

Everyone told me that I was beautiful.

But Nature asked me:

“Who is the one who wishes to be beautiful?”

That question changed everything.

I understood that beauty is not a possession.

It is not something to be defended.

It is not something to be compared.

It is not something that belongs to the ego.

Beauty simply exists.

Just as a flower blooms.

Just as the sky expands.

Just as the river flows.

Perhaps the greatest beauty of a human being is not the beauty that others can see.

Perhaps it is the moment when the person can stand before the magnificence of existence and humbly say:

“I am small, yet I belong to this vast beauty.”

And perhaps that was the day I truly saw myself.

Not when people called me beautiful.

But when Nature revealed the ugliness hidden behind my beauty.

For the mirror showed me my face.

But Nature showed me my soul.

Closing Reflection

Nature does not destroy the ego by fighting it.
It simply reveals how unnecessary it is.

And perhaps that is why we fear coming too close to Nature.

Because when we stand before something truly beautiful, magnificent, and vast, we can no longer hide behind the small image we have created of ourselves.

That is when the real mirror appears.

And that is when we finally see:

The beauty we were proud of…
and the ugliness that was hiding behind it.

Life is God experiencing Self

Thank you to Nature for the feelings she gave me,  the trees, mountains,  her many lakes and oceans,  for the sun sets of color,  the clouds that dance in the sky,  for everything she gives wanting nothing  but love in return!!! Thanks You to The world:  For all the good and bad people  I have encountered along the road,  for the lessons you taught me, even if they where bad,  it was still a good lesson to be learned  and for this I thank you... Blessings!!!

I experience myself as the conscious

'There is no "I" but I.' 'Then is there no "you" but you?' 'I, always I,' 'Gives me to think, I will meditate upon it.' 'Do nothing of the kind!'  'To "meditate" means using split-mind:  just look from within and see  - see  that so it Is!  Stop splitting and stay Whole!' Whatever we may be, we are being 'lived'.  We are not traveling, as we think:  we are being 'travelled'.

It is amazing how Infinite we are

When I wake up early and go for a walk early  enough to see the sunrise,  if I keep still and watch for a few minutes  I can actually enter in the moment of this movement.  In all my experience,  I become just Energetic aware that I am here,  standing at this special moment on the surface of this special spot;  and  this spot is going, going for away toward the stars  but very close to me,  then  galaxy, more stars,  more wonderful  - unique and amazing colors  then more universe, more and more billions miles away,  like before Jesus- before birth of this planet,  but close, more close, In me -  in myself.  And  this very moment experiencing the whole universe along with me,  in me  while I feel I am infinite  and  I am beyond the universe

Enjoy the beauty of a silence. (purity )

O, My Naughty Shaheer! First, I see you. You are always in My sight. And then I guide you lightly. Sometimes strongly. I hold a sword of love, and with this sword, I vanquish all ills that never belonged in your heart in the first place. I vanquish ill will. I vanquish all that which is opposed to love. Beloveds, in My Presence, what can you do but love? What barrier to love can exist when you are surrounded by My love, and you sink into My love. You float on a raft o f My love. Where else would you want to be? Where else is there for you to be? There is nowhere else but right here right now with Me. Do not bow. Jump instead. God is with you. This is an occasion for joy. Be joy then and forevermore, for I am always with you, and you are always with Me. Oneness is Our lot! Oneness is Our fortune. Oneness is Our Reality. It is the only Reality that is. You and I are One Experience!!! Always Your from Heart, The Sprightliness
