The Woman Who Learned to Look at Life
There was a time when I looked at the world to understand life. Today, I look at life to understand myself.
The world has not necessarily changed. The trees are still trees, the flowers still bloom in their seasons, and the sky still stretches beyond the reach of my eyes.
Yet something within me has changed.
I no longer look at beauty merely to admire it. I let beauty enter my awareness, becoming a quiet conversation between my existence and the world around me.
Sometimes, I wonder: Am I looking at life, or has life begun to look at itself through me?
The Beauty of Being Myself
I have never wished to become a perfect woman.
Perfection seems too rigid for a life that is constantly learning, changing, laughing, questioning, and discovering.
I would rather remain a woman who is alive to her own contradictions.
My mind can be mischievous, my heart romantic, my questions endless, and my silence surprisingly deep.
I can laugh at the smallest thing and become profoundly thoughtful in the very next moment.
Playfulness lives within me, but I do not want it to become arrogance.
Dignity lives within me, but I do not want it to become distance.
I have begun to understand that self-acceptance does not mean declaring myself complete.
It means allowing myself to grow without rejecting the woman I already am.
When the Eyes Become Students
My eyes have always been students.
They observe people's faces, the changing expressions of nature, the movement of clouds, and the silent language of ordinary moments.
Sometimes, I feel that the world is not asking me to explain it.
It is simply inviting me to notice it.
A flower does not ask whether I understand its existence before offering its fragrance.
The sunrise does not wait for my permission to spread its colors.
Nature teaches without demanding that I follow.
And perhaps this is why I have always found something deeply maternal in nature.
She allows everything its season.
The Smile That Lives Within
A smile does not always appear on the lips.
Sometimes, it remains hidden in the eyes.
Sometimes, it accompanies a thought.
Sometimes, even in moments of irritation, it reminds me that I need not surrender my entire being to one passing emotion.
I do not believe that a smiling woman is a woman without sorrow.
Perhaps she is simply someone who has learned that sorrow need not become the whole story of her existence.
Laughter does not erase life's seriousness.
It gives life room to breathe.
The Woman Beyond Her Reflection
When I look into a mirror, I see a face.
I see the passing of years, the marks of experience, and the changing expressions of a life that has continued to unfold.
But the mirror cannot show me everything.
It cannot show the questions that have accompanied me since childhood.
It cannot reveal every moment when silence became my companion.
It cannot measure my curiosity about the Divine, or the wonder I feel before the mysteries of existence.
The mirror reflects my appearance.
My awareness invites me to discover the woman looking back.
I Am Still Becoming
I do not want to reach a day when I can say that I have understood everything.
What would remain of the adventure?
I still want to ask why flowers bloom, why laughter rises, why silence sometimes feels more expressive than words, and why a human being can spend an entire lifetime discovering the mystery of being alive.
I want to remain a student.
Of nature.
Of humanity.
Of my own mind.
Of the Divine.
And of the extraordinary art hidden within an ordinary day.
Perhaps the greatest beauty of my journey is not that I have finally discovered who I am.
It is that I have learned to love the journey of discovering.
I am not a finished portrait.
I am a living canvas upon which life continues to paint.
And today, when I look toward the open sky, I do not ask it to tell me how beautiful I am.
I simply smile—
Because I am here.
Because I am learning.
Because I am alive.
And because life, even now, has something new to show me.
