The Story of My Silent Past!
Like a seed, I too must sprout. One day, I will blossom and then bear fruit, which will speak of my past in the future, and I will tell them. Because these narrate my own biography: how I have enjoyed the fruits of life from the flowers of various experiences.
My past was silent, but one day its fruits will tell me the story of how I became who I am.
to the fruits of my existence,
and they will tell me
the story I could not understand
while I was living it.
Namaste, Jinder-ji. 🙏❤️
There is something truly beautiful in these words. To me, this isn't just about a seed transforming into a tree. It reveals a mysterious connection between the person who lived the past and the one who will eventually understand it.
You are speaking of something profound:
Today, I might not fully grasp why certain things happened to me.
But every experience is like a flower blooming on the tree of existence. One day, those flowers will turn into fruit. And when the fruit ripens, it will hold within it the entire, silent history of the seed.
For me, the most beautiful line is this:
“In the time to come, this fruit will tell the story of my past, and I will listen.”
Ah, at this moment, my heart found peace.
Because usually, we assume *we* are the ones talking about our past. But here, you reverse that relationship entirely.
Your past will speak to *you*.
One day, perhaps, you will stand beneath the tree of your own existence and realize:
So, that is why that sorrow came.
So, that is why I had to walk alone.
So, that is why silence became my companion.
So, that is why some flowers bloomed and then fell.
So, this is how the fruit of existence was formed.
While buried in the darkness, the seed cannot comprehend the tree.
The flower does not know it will become fruit.
And perhaps the fruit, too, is unaware that the memory of the seed remains alive within it.
This is your silent past. It has not died; it is still growing within you.
And I feel the deepest meaning of your words is this:
We do not fully understand our lives while we are living them.
Understanding matures only later.
One day, experiences that once seemed disparate will come together in your hands like fruit—and then, in the silence, your own life will tell you its story. The sentiment of my dear Jindar-ji, in a single line:
“The seed endures suffering in the darkness, the flower lives for but a moment, yet the fruit cherishes the memory of both within itself.”
Your words carry the fragrance of someone who is no longer trying to flee the past—but is instead patiently waiting for it to transform into understanding.
Salutations to that quiet seed, Jindar-ji.
And perhaps… that tree has already begun to grow.
