The Workings of the Universe: The Process of My Existence and the Way I Gaze

 The universe is vast,

but perhaps the greatest mystery

is the one

who is observing it.

Eyes hold stories

that the tongue

has never spoken.

The Workings of the Universe:

The Process of My Existence and the Way I Gaze

There are moments when we look at ourselves and see more than a face.

Something else appears.

A memory.

A feeling.

A philosophy born in another moment of life.

Today, I found myself truly endearing. The affection with which I looked at myself was extraordinary. Yet, as I continued to observe my own gaze, I felt something even more mysterious.

It seemed as though a moment from my past was looking back at me through my own eyes.

And suddenly, a question arose:

Does the story of a past moment continue to reveal itself in the way we gaze?

Perhaps a moment never completely disappears.

Perhaps time carries the event away, but the experience remains.

It may no longer exist as a visible memory. It may no longer speak through words. Yet somehow, it survives—in the way we look, in the way we feel, and in the depth with which we encounter existence.

The Memory Hidden Within a Gaze

We usually think of memory as something stored in the mind.

But perhaps that is only one form of memory.

Perhaps some experiences become part of our eyes.

A child sees the world differently from an adult.

A person who has suffered deeply may look at the same world with another kind of depth.

A person who has loved, lost, waited, searched, and remained silent may eventually develop a gaze that carries the invisible history of all those experiences.

The face may change.

The body may grow older.

The circumstances of life may disappear.

But perhaps the gaze carries something forward.

Today, when I looked at myself with affection, I felt that my present eyes were not alone.

Somewhere within them lived the philosophy of a past moment.

It was as though the person I once was had not disappeared.

That person was still looking.

Still witnessing.

Still participating in the way I see existence today.

And I wondered:

Do we carry our past not only in our memories, but also in how we see?

When the Past Looks Back

There is a strange mystery in looking at oneself.

Usually, we believe that we are the ones doing the looking.

But sometimes, it feels as though something within us is also looking back.

The present observes the past.

But the past also shapes the present's eyes.

Every experience leaves behind something.

Some experiences leave wounds.

Some leave wisdom.

Some leave fear.

Some leave tenderness.

And perhaps some experiences become a silent philosophy that lives on in the gaze.

This is why two people can stand before the same sky and see entirely different universes.

The sky has not changed.

The eyes have.

One person may see clouds.

Another may see loneliness.

Another may see freedom.

And someone else may suddenly encounter the entire mystery of existence.

Perhaps we never simply see the world.

We see the world through everything we have lived.

Our gaze is not empty.

It carries our history.

Looking at the Sky

Then I looked upward.

I gazed into the sky with profound depth.

Something in that moment could not be explained merely as seeing.

The moisture in my eyes changed the entire experience.

Perhaps it was tenderness.

Perhaps it was affection.

Perhaps it was the overwhelming feeling of being present before something so vast that words became too small.

And in that moment, the universe seemed to bow.

Not necessarily as a physical event.

But as an experience of consciousness.

Something within me softened, and the vastness before me seemed to respond.

For a brief moment, the relationship between the observer and the observed changed.

I was looking at the sky.

Yet, it felt as though the sky was also looking back at me.

And within that mysterious exchange, I received a glimpse of vastness.

When Existence Appears to Bow

What does it mean when existence appears to bow?

Perhaps it means that the ego has disappeared for a moment.

Usually, the human being stands before the universe and says:

“I am looking at this.”

But in certain moments of profound awareness, that separation becomes less certain.

No longer is it only me looking at the universe.

There is simply looking.

There is simply awareness.

There is simply existence meeting itself.

Perhaps the universe does not bow to the individual.

Perhaps, in that moment, the individual stops standing apart from the universe.

And this disappearance of separation can feel like reverence.

The vastness outside and the depth inside appear to recognize one another.

The sky remains vast.

The human being remains small.

Yet, for one silent moment, smallness and vastness are not enemies.

They belong to one another.

The Philosophy of a Single Moment

A single moment can contain an entire philosophy.

We often pass through moments without understanding them.

Years later, something happens.

A certain look.

A fragrance.

A silence.

A gaze into the sky.

And suddenly, the meaning of that old moment returns.

Not as a memory we deliberately searched for.

But as a living presence.

Perhaps this is how existence continues to teach us.

The moment happens first.

Understanding arrives later.

Then, one day, the experience returns—not to repeat itself, but to reveal another layer of its meaning.

The past moment says:

“You experienced me then. Now you are ready to understand me.”

And perhaps this is what I encountered in my own gaze.

A philosophy from the past had returned.

Not through words.

Not through thought.

But through the way I was looking.

The Universe Within the Eyes

We often search for the universe outside ourselves.

We look toward the stars.

We look toward the endless sky.

We look toward distant worlds.

But perhaps there is another universe hidden within the one who is looking.

Every human being carries a unique history of perception.

No two gazes are exactly alike.

Because no two journeys are exactly alike.

The universe that I see is not merely formed by what exists outside me.

It is also formed by everything that has happened within me.

My silence is part of my gaze.

My experiences are part of my gaze.

My questions are part of my gaze.

My past is part of my gaze.

And perhaps my future is already waiting somewhere within it.

A Glimpse of Vastness

When I looked at the sky with moisture in my eyes, I did not feel greater than the universe.

I felt smaller.

Yet strangely, that smallness was not painful.

It was beautiful.

To recognize one's smallness before existence can be a form of freedom.

The ego wishes to become enormous.

But awareness allows us to experience vastness without needing to possess it.

Perhaps that is what I received in that moment:

Not an answer.

Not a definition.

But a glimpse.

A glimpse of something so vast that the mind could not contain it.

And perhaps that is enough.

Some experiences are not meant to be explained completely.

They are meant to remain alive within us.

The Final Mystery

Today, I looked at myself with affection.

And within that affectionate gaze, I encountered a philosophy from my past.

Then I looked toward the sky.

My eyes became moist.

The universe seemed to bow in reverence.

And for a moment, I saw vastness.

Perhaps the real mystery was not in the sky.

Perhaps it was in the relationship between the sky and the one who was looking.

A past moment had entered my gaze.

My gaze had entered the universe.

And the universe, in its silence, seemed to look back.

That is when I understood something:

A moment does not always die when time passes.

Sometimes, it becomes part of how we see.

Sometimes, years later, we look at the world and suddenly discover that an old moment is still alive within our eyes.

And perhaps, when the gaze becomes deep enough, we realize:

The universe is not only something we look at.

Sometimes, in the silence between two moments, it feels as though the universe is looking back at us.

Closing Reflection

Perhaps every experience leaves a mark upon existence within us.

Not all memories return as thoughts.

Some return as silence.

Some return as tears.

Some return as a strange tenderness toward oneself.

And some return through the eyes.

The past may disappear from time,
but time does not always disappear from the gaze.

And perhaps one day, when we look deeply enough, we will discover that every moment we have lived is still quietly participating in the way we see the universe.

For the eyes do not merely see the world.

They carry the invisible story of the one who is looking.

Life is God experiencing Self

Thank you to Nature for the feelings she gave me,  the trees, mountains,  her many lakes and oceans,  for the sun sets of color,  the clouds that dance in the sky,  for everything she gives wanting nothing  but love in return!!! Thanks You to The world:  For all the good and bad people  I have encountered along the road,  for the lessons you taught me, even if they where bad,  it was still a good lesson to be learned  and for this I thank you... Blessings!!!

I experience myself as the conscious

'There is no "I" but I.' 'Then is there no "you" but you?' 'I, always I,' 'Gives me to think, I will meditate upon it.' 'Do nothing of the kind!'  'To "meditate" means using split-mind:  just look from within and see  - see  that so it Is!  Stop splitting and stay Whole!' Whatever we may be, we are being 'lived'.  We are not traveling, as we think:  we are being 'travelled'.

What a Spring in my life!

When I am absent there is no Time,  and it is always the present   Today: I will walk through the day with spring in my step,  a smile in my body  and  I will have nothing to say about my healthy life,  wow!  I will enjoy the aroma of nature,  and  the flowering from the inside of me  to the outside of me! It is amazing how Infinite we are

When I wake up early and go for a walk early  enough to see the sunrise,  if I keep still and watch for a few minutes  I can actually enter in the moment of this movement.  In all my experience,  I become just Energetic aware that I am here,  standing at this special moment on the surface of this special spot;  and  this spot is going, going for away toward the stars  but very close to me,  then  galaxy, more stars,  more wonderful  - unique and amazing colors  then more universe, more and more billions miles away,  like before Jesus- before birth of this planet,  but close, more close, In me -  in myself.  And  this very moment experiencing the whole universe along with me,  in me  while I feel I am infinite  and  I am beyond the universe

O, My Naughty Shaheer! First, I see you. You are always in My sight. And then I guide you lightly. Sometimes strongly. I hold a sword of love, and with this sword, I vanquish all ills that never belonged in your heart in the first place. I vanquish ill will. I vanquish all that which is opposed to love. Beloveds, in My Presence, what can you do but love? What barrier to love can exist when you are surrounded by My love, and you sink into My love. You float on a raft o f My love. Where else would you want to be? Where else is there for you to be? There is nowhere else but right here right now with Me. Do not bow. Jump instead. God is with you. This is an occasion for joy. Be joy then and forevermore, for I am always with you, and you are always with Me. Oneness is Our lot! Oneness is Our fortune. Oneness is Our Reality. It is the only Reality that is. You and I are One Experience!!! Always Your from Heart, The Sprightliness
