Self-liberation

Self-Liberation

)---When we look closely at our thoughts and emotions, we can see their quality of self-liberation.

)---When we see their nature of appearance-emptiness, we see that they have no inherent existence.

)--- They { Thoughts & Emotions } are unborn and, therefore, they neither abide nor cease. They spontaneously appear from the nature of mind and naturally dissolve back into that nature.

)--- When we realize this, we can see that thoughts and emotions do not impose anything on us or bind us in any way; therefore, they are not truly a cause of suffering.
)--- If we can get closer to the ultimate nature of our emotions and rest directly within that nature, then we can see that self-liberation is taking place all the time
)--- Example: However, if we simply rest in that anger, then it liberates itself.
)--- When we recognize this—the natural process of self-liberation—then we will find a complete and deep sense of peace
)--- When we can rest our mind in the present moment of our experience—without being distracted by thoughts and without altering the experience in any way—then we can penetrate all fabrications. They will simply dissolve in the space of non-conceptual awareness.
)---All thoughts and emotions are naturally self-liberated when we accept who we are, accept each experience as it arises and genuinely appreciate the opportunity that such experiences provide.
